Bio
Jim Pye began pro-life ministry in 2000 when he joined the staff of his local pregnancy center as Director of Men's Ministry. As part of that outreach to men he began taking men through abortion recovery programs. As the local men's ministry grew Jim recognized that other centers around the country were interested in developing their own men's ministry programs.
In 2002 he founded Maximum Impact Ministries to help these pregnancy centers implement their own outreach to young men and post abortion fathers. He developed the Maximum Impact Seminar and authored an accompanying manual and has now trained over a dozen other centers over the past six years. Jim has published several articles related to men's ministry in the context of pregnancy center ministry for At The Center and Heartlink magazines. He has also written for Today's Christian Preacher. Jim is also quoted and referenced in "Mom, Dad, I'm Pregnant" by Jayne Schooler. He has presented workshops for CareNet and Heartbeat International, and was a keynote speaker for the joint Heartbeat International/Life International conference in Kiev in 2005. Jim presented the foundational material that would become the Maximum Impact Seminar for the Executive Roundtable conference sponsored by CareNet and Heartbeat International in 2004 and has served as the main speaker for several pregnancy center banquets. He has been featured on local and national radio programs dealing with men and abortion. Jim later became the Executive Director for his center until leaving to start a new business and devote more time to Maximum Impact Ministries.
Jim earned his BS from Texas A&M University and a Masters degree in Biblical Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary. He holds a Graduate Teacher's Diploma from the Evangelical Training Association and is a licensed minister as well. Jim lives in College Station, Texas with his wife and son and is a licensed massage therapist. He continues to serve pregnancy centers and churches through Maximum Impact Ministries.
